The world's leading reference fair in terms of raw materials for fashion will receive, from 10 to 12 February, 30 Portuguese exhibitors. The participation of these companies in Première Vision Paris has the support of Associação Selectiva Moda, within the From Portugal internationalisation project, supported by NSRF.

The design and quality of Portuguese textiles will be well represented at the Première Vision Paris, to be held for 3 days in Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. Thirty Portuguese companies will be attending this edition of the fair and will exhibit their Fabrics and Accessories Spring/Summer 2016 collections.

For the first time the Première Vision Pluriel presents itself under the name Première Vision Paris and comprises a set of six events, complementary to each other in terms of offer, that has been fully integrated since September last year and is now managed by a single organisation: Première Vision. The events are Fabrics – Yarns – Manufacturing – Accessories – Leather – Designs – and three specialisation areas: Maison D’Exceptions, Knitwear Solutions and Wash & Dye. The Portuguese participation will be divided into four events: Fabrics – Yarns – Manufacturing – Accessories - and one specialisation area: Knitwear Solutions.

The company A. Sampaio & Filhos considers the Première Vision Paris the most important fashion fair at European level, where they are in touch with clients from a wide range of countries. The company will present its Spring/Summer 16 knitwear collection, which highlights a whole variety of structures, materials and types of end use. As always, they will also present its range of environmentally sustainable products - pure life range - which places particular emphasis in this season on organic cotton fabric and recycled polyester, as well as blends of these fibres with linen. In the sports sector - the "sport/active" range - the influence of fashion looks applied to high performance materials is evident.

Penteadora considers this fair as a "meeting point with most of its clients, as buyers from all over the world come here," says Paolo Zantonelli, the company's Sales Director. "The demand for fabrics for coats has increased significantly and our company is already a reference in the sector. We are trying to attract a younger and less conventional target, but we do not neglect our core business."

NGS Malhas will be attending the trade show with fine knits and rich compositions, in a market that the company considers to be booming. The main purpose of its participation is the increase and enhancement of the sales volume.

TMG – Tecidos also considers this event a worldwide reference with regard to raw materials. It will present fabrics for shirting and outerwear. This spring/summer '16 collection focuses on a more sophisticated, bolder and more creative touch, in addition to classic products.
The freshness of colours is essential and a must in this season, as well as pastel colours that become more whitish and vivid colours that become more pastel. The aims of the participation in the events are mainly to reach new clients, to strengthen and increase the number of existing clients, as well as to have a perspective on new trends and on the the textile market situation in general.

Troficolor Têxteis SA returns to the fair since it is the "best showcase for our products and a valuable means of contact with solid category clients," explains Flávio Dias, the company's Marketing Director. The collection to be presented focuses on developing new jacquard patterns in Indigo fibre; the launch of new designs and checkered shirt constructions, also in Indigo fibre, as well as new developments in Denim Knitwear; the extension of the Ready-to-Wear (Denims that don't' need washing) and Red Selvedge Raw Denim lines. The main objective of Troficolor's participation in this event is "to grow gradually and sustainably in the French market, but also to approach other markets, due to the geographic diversity of visitors", as emphasises again Flávio Dias.

Idepa will present solutions that combine woven labels, hangtags, tapes and elastics. As a complement to the collection, it also presents packaging solutions which make the brands' reputation unique. With this participation, they expect "to get in touch with clients from the textile industry, especially brands wishing to source in Europe and who are interested in the products", are the words of Ana Paula Pires, Marketing Manager of the company, which also hopes "to close the event with effective product orders that justify future participations and investments."

Tearfil presents products made with cellulosic fibres mixed with: cotton, silk, cashmere, wool and linen.

Dielmar also considers this exhibition "a reference event in the textile and fashion industry, as it has a large number of professional visitors, mostly international, and allows us to contact various markets", as stated by Marta Carvalho, the company's Head of Communication and Marketing.
Products featured at this fair are semi-traditional construction suits and/or heat-sealed suits with different fittings (from regular to slim fit), unstructured jackets and/or washed with half lining and unlined, pants in different fabrics and washes, above all in pure wool and cashmere and ceremony items such as tailcoats and tuxedos.
