+351, IDEAL & CO AND MANO STUDIO PRESENT IN FLORENCE THE NEW FASHION TRENDS FOR MAN

The Portuguese industry returns to Florence from June 11th to 14th to participate in another edition of Pitti Uomo, the largest international fashion fair for men’s clothing.
After being Guest Nation in the last edition, the Portuguese brands want to continue to strive and promise to present many novelties.

It is the biggest event in the world of men's fashion and Portugal could not fail to be present.
Between June 11th and 14th, all the industry’s big international names will be gathered in Florence, in historic Fortezza da Basso, for another edition of Pitti Uomo, where the main trends for the next season will be presented.
Among the exhibitors, Portugal will be represented by the brands +351, Ideal & Co and Mano Studio, who will be showcasing at the fair under the support of Selectiva Moda’s "From Portugal" project. Dielmar is another Portuguese brand that will be present at the show.
At Florence, the strategy of the Portuguese entourage is to present new products, with the aim of conquering new buyers in the international markets.
"We are going to present our latest collection, a new step for +351. We are currently investing in heavier materials with more structure, such as modal cotton, and we will present a new collection of clothing, with shorts, swimwear, shirts and parkas, amongst other pieces," says Leonor Jacome de Castro, the brand’s Sales & Marketing manager, who was also present at Pitti Uomo in January.
In this edition, the aim of the brand is to strengthen the contact with its current customers and make new sales, especially in markets such as Germany, Benelux and the Nordic countries.
Mano Studio is also presenting several novelties, namely its first collection of clothing. "In addition to sneakers, we have a new line of street wear that we will present at Pitti Uomo. It’s called 'Inspired by a German school' and is based on simple and minimalist lines, combined with primary colours," says Fernando Figueiredo, the brand’s representative.
Specialized in leather products, Ideal & Co will present its latest collection of suitcases, backpacks and other accessories, a vintage design with a contemporary reinterpretation. "In a light and easy-going language, Ideal & Co's latest line explores the imagery of summer in Portugal, betting on lighter and softer shades," said Jose Lima, the brand’s co-founder.

The Portuguese companies participation in Pitti Uomo is an initiative of Selectiva Moda and ATP - Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal, which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese fashion companies. The project “From Portugal” is co-financed by Portugal 2020, under Compete 2020 - Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization, with an eligible support amount of €12,118,285.17, of which €6,695,352.55 comes through the European Regional Development Fund.
