NATIONAL LINGERIE AND HOMEWEAR IN PARIS

COLLOVE - CONFENIX – GHIBI – INTECOL - IORA LINGERIE – are the highlighted names in this edition. Portugal marks once again its presence in SIL by taking to Paris the new lingerie and homewear collections to the next seasons.

Porte de Versailles will be the stage for another edition of Salon International de la Lingerie, from the 19th to the 21st in Paris. Five companies travel from Portugal taking the new trends made-in Portugal to the next seasons in their luggage with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda in the scope of the internationalization project From Portugal financed by Qren.

Collove presents a dynamic collection with an informal style, full of irreverence and originality, with a unique feel and incomparable comfort.  
Specialized in sleepwear, Confenix premières in this fair where they “intend to test our new brand, Musha, specially developed to internationalization and where we hope to find some agents”, as Miguel de Oliveira, the company’s manager, has explained.  
Casual and home footwear constitute the collection which will be in exhibition in Sweet Chic, the Ghibi stand, which is already a regular in this event. Specialized in the conception, development and manufacturing of socks and tights, Intecol takes to Paris its wide range of products from the brand Lady Susy. 
Refinement and quality are some of the characteristics of the collection taken by Iora Lingerie, a repeater in this fair which is “really international and receives clients from the entire world”, as confirmed by Cristina Flores, general manager of the company.

The Salon International de La Lingerie counts with many novelties to celebrate its 50th edition.
The Trends Forum “Ice Land”, which shows four universes of lingerie to the visitors of the fair, allows a 360º vision of the trends for the Fall/Winter 2013/2014. Emerging trends, exclusive trend guides and the cooperation with several artists and designers will transform this forum into a unique event to celebrate the 50th edition of the hall. Salon International de la Lingerie will introduce for the first time a specific retailing area where it will be possible for professionals of the area to share and discover new opportunities to propel their commercial relationships. 

The participation of the Portuguese companies in SIL Paris is an initiative of Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of communitary fundings (QREN), inserted in the project From Portugal. Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity which promotes the internationalization of Portuguese companies and counts, in 2013, with a program of international actions in 35 distinct markets, targeting the areas of threads, tissues and accessorize, fashion, home textiles and technical textiles.
