Three Portuguese companies travel to New York to attend the 26th edition of Première Vision New York. Lemar, Penteadora and Teviz present their trends to the next hot season in New York. Colour, innovation and design are some of the strong points of the collections taken by the national companies, present in this fair with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda in the scope of the project From Portugal.

On the following 15th and 16th of January the Metropolitan Pavillion & Altman Building will gather a rigorous selection of the most innovative manufacturers of fabrics which will present their new collections for the Spring/Summer 2014.

Lemar, Penteadora and Teviz are the three national companies which will attend Première Vision New York, one of the most prestigious fairs of fabrics in the United States. A delegation of national companies integrates the internationalization project From Portugal, an initiative implemented by
Assciação Selectiva Moda with the support of Qren.

The main trends in the areas of beachwear, casualwear, sportswear, golf and skiwear are taken to New York by Lemar. Some of the proposals taken by Penteadora include rigid mixtures and Strecht to men and women, 100% woolen fabrics, fabrics for uniforms and a ceremony collection.
The proposals taken by Teviz are characterized by its colour, counting with some fluorescents, reds and strong blues. This collection is composed of, among others, 100% cotton fabrics, 100% linen fabrics and cotton and lycra fabrics.

The 26th edition of Première Vision New York presents a record number of participations counting with the presence of 237 exhibitors, representing an increase of around 13% in comparison to the year of 2012.

The participation of the Portuguese companies in Première Vision New York is an initiative of Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of communitary fundings (QREN), inserted in the project From Portugal.
Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity which promotes the internationalization of Portuguese companies and counts, in 2013, with a program of international actions in 35 distinct markets, targeting the areas of threads, tissues and accessorize, fashion, home textiles and technical textiles.
