NATIONAL PRODUCTION IN LITHUANIA
Four Portuguese exhibitors - Intecol - Lipaco - Paco Design - Susana Bettencourt – travel to Eastern Europe, more precisely to Lithuania, in order to participate in Baltic&Leather 2012, integrated in the project From Portugal promoted by Associação Selectiva Moda.
Intecol - Lipaco - Pa&Co Design - Susana Bettencourt are the four Portuguese companies that make part of the Portuguese committee which will be present from the 25th to the 27th October in Vilnius, Lithuania, for another edition of Baltic & Leather 2012.
Intecol, which is specialized in the conception, development and manufacturing of socks and tights, presents a wide range of products from its brands Lady Suzy and Passion Divina.
The range of products presented by Lipaco is very extended, ranging from polyester threads to high performance 100% cotton threads.
Pa&Co Design presents a collection of external clothing made of knitwear for men, women and children. They are experts in special fibers, namely viscose, angora, cashmere, modal, wool, cotton, among others.
The young creator Susana Bettencourt takes to Baltic a collection that presents itself under the motto “Collective Memory”. It is a female Knitwear collection inspired in architectonical and Islamic figures – Mugarnas.
The 21st edition of Baltic Textile & Leather, the fabrics and fashion fair, will be held from the 25th to the 27 October in Vilnius. This fair is one of the most important events of the sector in the Baltic region, whose market rounds 10 million inhabitants. It counts with around 179 participants from 18 countries and more than 8000 professional buyers from 21 foreign countries.
The participation of Portuguese companies in Baltic Textile & Leather is an initiative of Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of community funding (Qren), inserted in the project From Portugal. Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity which promotes the internationalization of Portuguese companies, counting, in 2012, with a program of 68 international actions in 25 distinct markets, aimed at the areas of strings, tissues and accessorize, fashion, home textiles, decoration textiles and technical textiles with an investment of 8,85 million euro.
