PORTUGUESE MAGIC IN LAS VEGAS

From the 20th to the 23rd of August, another edition of Magic Marketplace will take place. Six Portuguese brands will be present in this event, divided by their areas, and supported by the Selectiva Moda Association, within the project of internationalisation From Portugal.


From the 20th to the 23rd of August, another edition of Magic Marketplace will take place. Six Portuguese brands will be present in this event, divided by their areas, and supported by the Selectiva Moda Association, within the project of internationalisation From Portugal.

Barrio Santo, Boom Bap, Dream Brothers, Girandola, Katty Xiomara and Orfama – are the six national brands that make up the Portuguese delegation in another edition of Magic Marketplace.

WWD Contemporary and Magic Kids, areas of exhibition of the Las Vegas Convention Centre, will have the presence of the following companies: Dream Brothers, Orfama and Girandola.
Appearing again in this event, will be Inarbel, who will be taking to Las Vegas next season's novelties of her brand Dream Brothers. Design and comfort quality are the main featured characteristics in this collection.
Orfama is a brand for a new generation. Always present in this event, it presents a collection with an elegant and original style, using comfortable materials, combining versatility and glamour.
Girandola, a newcomer to this event, for the Spring/Summer 2013, presents a collection filled with colour, with a modern design, for babies and children of age 0 to 12 years old.

Barrio Santo, Boom Bap and Katty Xiomara will also be present in the Mandaly Bay, in the areas Project and Streetwear.
A newcomer to Las Vegas, the Barrio Santo presents a collection specially conceived for those who look for more than simple clothing, but look for a wardrobe that combines with his/her attitude and values. Each collection is a campaign which reflects a cause supported by Barrio Santo. Too Much! - the slogan for the Barrio Santo's campaign for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
In order to present the novelties of the collection of Summer 2013 of her brand, Katty Xiomara marks one more presence in this event.
The Boom Bap exhibits for the first time in this event under the slogan "The Forever Young Collection". Inspired by the spirit of the brand and by its graphic aspect, with references to fashion icons and the music of the “Street Culture”. The featured colours are quick, like orange, pink, beige, grey and black, along with a wide range of fluorescents from the 80's.

A participação das empresas portuguesas na Magic Marketplace é uma iniciativa da Associação Selectiva Moda, com o apoio de fundos comunitários (Qren), inserida no projecto From Portugal. A Associação Selectiva Moda é uma entidade promotora da internacionalização das empresas portuguesas e para 2012 conta com um programa de 68 acções internacionais em 25 mercados distintos, direccionado para as áreas de fios, tecidos e acessórios, moda, têxteis-lar e decoração e têxteis técnicos, com um investimento de 8,85 milhões de euros.
