CHILDREN’S FASHION MADE – IN PORTUGAL

A delegation composed of three national companies – Dr. Kid, Patachou and Play Up – travels to London, from 12 to 18 June, to participate in another Bubble London edition fair. These Portuguese companies travel to London integrated on the internationalization project From Portugal, carried out by Selectiva Moda Association and supported by the QREN EU Funds.

For two days, the Business Design Centre, in London, receives the major Portuguese children’s fashion trends for Spring / Summer 2013.

Dr. Kid feature in London a set of baby, children and teenager creations that distinguishes it by the inspiration and good taste which are designed, always having the utmost to combine style with comfort. A collection composed by an enlarged range of models and colors, where is implied the irreverent and dynamic spirit of children and young people.

The nautical theme is one of the classics that’s reinvented in all Spring / Summer Patachou Collections and this will not be the exception… Standing out at this season is the mix polka dots and stripes patterns. The lace and English embroidery subtlety are in evidence, appearing in ceremonial garments.
Play Up Spring / Summer Collection portrays the brand environment, describing a concept of elegant and functional clothes for babies and children. Standing out the Navi Chic, combining the classic colors – navy blue, green and white – with refreshing and brilliant tones of Papaya.

The participation of the Portuguese companies in Bubble London is an initiative of Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of communitary fundings (QREN), inserted in the project From Portugal. Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity which promotes the internationalization of Portuguese companies and counts, in 2012, with a program of 68 international actions in 25 distinct markets, targeting the areas of threads, tissues and accessorize, fashion, home textiles and technical textiles with an investment of 8,85 million euro.
