LUSO COMPANIES BET IN COLOMBIA

Being Colombia one of the main available markets with an enormous booming potential it has become a focus of attention to national companies. Arco Têxteis, Gulbena Têxteis, Lipaco, Riopele and Teviz, are the Portuguese companies which will be present in the next edition of Colombiatex. 

Five national companies head towards Colombia to conquer the Latin American market in the expectation of a positive presence. Arco Têxteis, Gulbena Têxteis, Lipaco, Riopele and Teviz will present the news of the Spring/Summer collection 2013. These companies will be present in the fair with the support of  Associação Selectiva Moda in the scope of the internationalization Project financed by Qren.      

Teviz presents a collection made of a wide range of sportswear tissues and tissues for shirts. The great variety of colours, textures and finishings characterize this collection. 
The proposals of Riopele to the Spring/Summer collection 2013 bet in a palette where pastel colors and glow are highlighted. Concerning materials, cotton, silk and natural fibers, such as line and viscose, are the main trends. 
Lipaco presents a variety of threads from polyester filament to 100% high performance cotton line. 
Gulbena Têxteis, a repeater in this fair, takes to Colombia its news in the area of technical tissues; Prymal, Plexus, Corporalys, Chroma, Spiro and Ignis, as some of the highlighted products. 

Organized by Inexmoda, Colombiatex is considered the main business platform to the Latin American textile sector of the latest years. The fair will be held in Plaza Mayor, in Medellin, from the 24th to the 26th January.  

The participation of the Portuguese companies in Colombiatex is an initiative of Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of communitary fundings (QREN), inserted in the project From Portugal. Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity which promotes the internationalization of Portuguese companies and counts, in 2012, with a program of 68 international actions in 25 distinct markets, targeting the areas of threads, tissues and accessorize, fashion, home textiles and technical textiles with an investment of 8,85 million euro.
