Four Portuguese textile companies will exhibit at Pure London from 8 to 10 February. Four Portuguese textile companies will exhibit at Pure London from 8 to 10 February. Blackspider, Cotton Brothers, Cristina Barros and Katty Xiomara are the Portuguese brands travelling to the English capital with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda, under the From Portugal internationalisation project, supported by NSRF.

Pure London is held over three days, at London Olympia. The exhibitors will include four "made in Portugal" brands, all of which have exhibited at previous editions of the London fair. This event is held primarily to bring together the best the international fashion industry has to offer in terms of design, quality and innovation.

Blackspider goes to London with its Autumn/Winter '15 collection, which highlights the modern woman as the main character, who strives for elegance and good taste. According to Francisco Costa, sales manager of the company, "the choice of this market is reflected in the enormous competitiveness of the sector at the fair in London," and, due to demands and strong competition on this show, he feels a "greater responsibility in being side by side with the biggest names of the fashion industry," he added.

Cubos d’Algodão again takes the Cristina Barros brand to the centre of the UK. The brand will present two annual collections (Spring - Summer / Autumn - Winter) and its goal is to reach a medium-high segment, for clients aged from 20 to 65 years.

Katty Xiomara sees Pure London as an interesting gateway to the British and Middle East markets. The brand will present the new winter collection 2015, which has Melton wool, tweeds and spongy knitwear, which embody the idea of volume and texture. The lightness and pure lines serve the cotton and silk lace and voiles. Small colourful piping and fine lace outline the seams and edges of the clothing. This company's expectations in regard to its participation in the fair are focused on attracting new customers and new contacts.

Cotton Brothers is a women's clothing brand that produces fashion collections with great attention to detail and quality of the materials used. Fashion trends are interpreted by the brand in a very relaxed manner, to dress women at every moment of their lives always with a touch of femininity and sophistication, which reflects their personality and their own style. The brand will present, among other items, jackets and overcoats, dresses, jeans, shirts and blouses, shorts, skirts and boots. The entire collection fosters the relationship between fashion, quality and price.

The participation of these four Portuguese companies in Pure London is an initiative promoted by Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of European funds (NSRF), within the From Portugal project, and is part of a series of more than 87 international activities in 2014/2015, covering the entire textile and fashion sector, spread over four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa and America - with a total investment of 12 million euros.
