The biannual Bubble London fair organised by ITE Moda Ltd in the Business Design Centre, London, will have eight Portuguese exhibitors at its first edition, in 2015, full of quality and design proposals for children.

The fair has been held since 2008, with over 280 exhibitors at each event, showing the latest trends in children's fashion, accessories, gifts and household items.

Beppi, which has exhibited at previous fairs, is back again with the aim of growing in the UK market. It will present a collection of footwear with the highlights being boots with lights (uggs), clogs with smells, injected models and the "back to school" leather line. It has high expectations in relation to the fair and the brand intends to develop good contacts for future business.

Gloop is exhibiting for the first time at the fair. It has prepared a range of products mostly targeted at the newborn segment, which include cloth nappies, bibs, sleeping bags and towels. The brand will also introduce its range of bedding linen and maternity bags. Its products stand out for being made with organic cotton fabric with soft prints using water-based dyes.
At the end of the fair, "we expect to have taken an important step in the internationalisation and expansion of the brand, attracting new foreign customers and also extending the network of contacts in the UK market," said Nuno Monteiro, director of company.

Piccola Speranza is back at Bubble London for the fourth time. It aims to increase the positive feedback it has already had in relation to the event and broaden its customer base in a market it considers to be very strong for Portuguese companies. The collection it will exhibit stands apart for the elegance of the design and materials of the clothing for babies and children, consisting of skirts, dresses, shirts, tunics, coats, socks, T-shirts, trousers and shorts. It will also present a line of accessories that includes hats, satchels and hair bows. The brand envisages that its participation will expand the network of contacts, increase the volume of exports and cause it to be recognised in various different markets.

Dr. Kid will be presenting a collection with a special focus on accessories, knitwear and babywear at this British event.

Bubble London is a fair that always indicates the new trends and presents a new generation of the children's fashion fair to the market. It is the main children's fashion event in the UK, held over two days in January and in July.

The participation of these Portuguese companies in BUBBLE LONDON is an initiative promoted by Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of European funds (NSRF), within the From Portugal project, and is part of a series of more than 87 international activities in 2014/2015, covering the entire textile and fashion sector, spread over four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa and America - with a total investment of 12 million euros.
