AMR Internacional - Burel Factory - Castelbel - Devilla - Filipe Nogueira Carriço Unipessoal – Marias Paperdolls – TM Collection - are the Portuguese companies travelling to France with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda, within the From Portugal internationalisation project, supported by NSRF.

Maison & Objet's 20th edition will take place over five days in Paris, aimed at bringing together a varied product offering such as decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, the world of children and tableware. Seven Portuguese exhibitors are heading for the City of Love to showcase their products and collections.

The company Filipe Nogueira Carriço Unipessoal, which aims to expand the business at European level and increase exports, will be showcasing a collection focusing on kitchen textiles. As Filipe Nogueira states, «expectations with regard to participation in the trade show are very high», as he considers that «this market/trade show will be a very good international product launch».

Castelbel, a regular at the trade show, returns to Paris once again. As states Marta Araújo, the company's commercial director, «the participation in this international trade show is increasingly important for any brand aiming to put roots down in the global decoration and lifestyle market». Castelbel, which is present in more than 40 countries, will be showcasing several novelties, highlighting the new “Portus Cale Gold&Blue” line, which is completely inspired by the traditional Portuguese tile.

By combining ancient wisdom with modern design, Burel Factory presents original and contemporary pieces, highlighting duvets, quilts, pillows, sofas, armchairs, chairs, blankets and scarves, restoring old patterns with contemporary shapes and colours.

TM Collection focuses on a textile design project which incorporates feeling, knowledge, art and passion for life, with a collection of fashion accessories and clothing.

For the first time at the trade show, Marias Paperdolls emerges as a contemporary concept of environmental approach, which gives birth to paper dolls. «The collection is inspired by the clothing of Traditional Feast of Sobrado (Valongo, Portugal), characterized by the expression of popular tradition and party, contextualizing with the fashion trends these days», as Claudia Oliveira states, one of the company managers.

Devilla will be presenting a collection focusing on bath and bedroom linens - Devilla Têxteis Lar – which promises to combine its traditional standards of quality with uncompromising care in manufacture and design.

AMR, a company with home and hotel textile products, will be showcasing a varied collection of duvets, quilts, pillows, blankets, bedroom linen, bath linen and tablecloths.

Once again the trade show gathers exhibitors and visitors from all over the world in a place which is conducive to meetings and exchanges and to showcase an international range of high quality products. The venue also allows a comprehensive view to be gained of the excellence and innovation, which helps to share the best in creativity.

The participation of Portuguese companies in Maison et Objet is an initiative promoted by Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of European funds (NSRF), within the From Portugal project, and is part of a series of more than 87 international activities in 2014/2015, covering the entire textile and fashion sector, spread over four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa and America - with a total investment of 12 million euros.
