Three Portuguese companies will be attending Baltic Fashion & Textile Vilnius, which takes place from the 16th - 18th october, in Lithuania's capital. Inktex – Lipaco – Tintex – are the three Portuguese companies attending this trade fair which will be taking made in Portugal's best in threads, dyes, finishings and digital printing.

Inktex, which is making its debut in this market, is travelling to Lithuania's capital to present the best in dyes and finishings, with the spotlight on knits such as lyocell, silk, tencel, wool and wool blends. As regards digital printing, Inktex will be showcasing the design proposals it has developed which are applied to special knit fabrics, namely 100% silk jersey. The choice of this market is mainly due to its potential “as Lithuania is the most populous Baltic republic, with optimal social and economic development indicators and which is set to become a driving force of development not to be overlooked. It is also a market which we already supply through third parties and with this participation we hope to establish new direct contacts”, reveals António Barroso, director of company.

Lipaco is already a regular attendant at the trade fair “this a traditional market for us as we have been working here for a number of years and it enables us to work directly with some of the neighbouring countries” says Jorge Pereira, the company's CEO. In addition to sewing and textured polyester threads, polyamides are in the spotlight. “We aim to continue our expansion project in this area and consolidate our market share” he adds.

Tintex, a newcomer in this market, is taking ecological products to Vilnius, with functional finishings and gloss. It is a very interesting market for the Portuguese company. “This market is of interest due to its proximity to countries such as Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Russia. We have high expectations for this trade fair, to learn about the market and find Nordic agents and clients”, explains Mário Jorge, the company's General Manager.

"Baltic Fashion & Textile Vilnius", which is in its 23rd edition, is considered to be one of the best meeting points for fashion and textile industry professionals. It has a very favourable geographical location and is a gateway to the markets of countries such as: Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Latvia and Estonia.
