The Big Apple hosts another edition of Première Vision New York on the 14th and 15th January. The Metropolitan Pavilion & Altman Building will be the stage for three Portuguese companies participating in the show, with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda, as part of the From Portugal project. Made-in Portugal fabrics will be in the spotlight and the key Spring/Summer 2015 trends will be presented.

Design, innovation and inspirational trends are the main ingredients of the next edition of Première Vision New York, to be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion & Altman Building on the 14th and 15th January.

Lemar, Teviz by Polopique and Troficolor, are the three Portuguese companies comprising the Portuguese delegation, which will travel to New York with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda, within the From Portugal internationalisation project.

Key trends in beachwear, casual wear, sportswear, golf, skiwear and workwear will be taken to New York by Lemar, a regular presence in New York.

The collection taken by Teviz by Polopique is made up of fabrics which are 100% cotton, organic cotton and flannel, among others.

For its part, Troficolor is making its debut in this market. «As part of the company's internationalisation project, Troficolor has been present in Paris, Munich, Tokyo and Shanghai and the time has come to take our collection to the American market. The choice of this show was based on the fact that the Première Vision brand is the most renowned in the world of textiles, as well as Troficolor's success at the Paris editions», explains Flávio Dias, of the company's Export Department. The Troficolor Denim Makers collection reveals surprises in the Denim Red Selvedge range«for the first time, we will present light versions of 5oz and with a linen mix. Also highlighted are the printed denims and jacquards, the Special Edition line with silicone coated linen and Indigo knits with new mixes, including silk and linen», reveals Flávio Dias.

Première Vision New York will gather 124 exhibitors in this edition, an increase of around 17% versus 2013.

The participation of Portuguese companies at Première Vision New York is an initiative promoted by Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of Community funding (NSRF), within the From Portugal project, which is part of a set of over 65 international actions scheduled for 2014, which cover the textile and fashion trade, spread across four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa and America - with a total investment of 9 million Euros.
